'Paddington in Peru' Digital Release Date

Sony Pictures has released their heartwarming family adventure sequel PADDINGTON IN PERU on digital platforms, which arrived on April 1st, 2025. The film is now available for purchase and rental, with the physical release on DVD and Blu-ray scheduled for April 29th, 2025.

Paddington in Peru marks the third installment in the beloved franchise and is directed by Dougal Wilson, working from a screenplay crafted by Michael Bond's characters and writers Paul King and Simon Farnaby. The film continues the charming tradition established by its predecessors while taking audiences on an exciting new journey.

The story takes Paddington back to his roots as he journeys to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, now residing at the Home for Retired Bears. What begins as a sentimental reunion transforms into an unexpected adventure when the Brown family, accompanying Paddington on his travels, finds themselves swept into a mysterious plot. Their journey takes them through the lush, vibrant landscapes of the Amazon rainforest and up to the breathtaking mountain peaks of Peru.

Critics have embraced the film for maintaining the franchise's signature blend of humor, heart, and visual splendor. While some reviewers note it doesn't quite capture the perfect magic of "Paddington 2" (which holds a special place in cinema history for its exceptional reviews), the film delivers the warmth, charm, and gentle life lessons that have made Paddington a beloved character for generations.
