'Black Bag' Digital Release Date

Universal Pictures has released their critically acclaimed spy thriller BLACK BAG on digital platforms, which arrived on April 1st, 2025. The film is now available for streaming, just weeks after its theatrical debut on March 14th, 2025.

Black Bag is directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh, who showcases his versatility by also serving as producer, editor, and cinematographer on the project. The screenplay comes from acclaimed writer David Koepp, whose impressive resume includes blockbusters like "Jurassic Park" and "Mission: Impossible."

The film stars Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett as George and Kathryn Woodhouse, a married couple who share not only their lives but also their careers as secret agents. The central plot revolves around "Severus," a sophisticated code worm designed to take control of nuclear weaponry, and the high-stakes investigation to uncover a mole within the Secret Intelligence Service.
